We’re Get Loose, a high-energy blues-rock band from Oxfordshire. Our music blends gritty blues, driving rock, and soulful melodies to create something that feels both fresh and timeless. For us, it’s all about emotion and connection.

Our latest album, Let It Rise, captures the raw energy and emotion that define who we are. Recorded at Woodworm Studios and produced by Steve “Geezer” Watkins, it blends powerful blues tones with a punch of rock attitude.
Each of the 12 original tracks tells a story of resilience and passion, inspired by the ups and downs that shape us all. It’s fast-paced, heartfelt, and made to be played loud... the kind of record that keeps your heart racing long after the last note fades.

Dereham Blues Festival, Dereham
We are part of the Dereham Blues Festival, playing the Mid Norfolk Railway on Friday 3 July 2026. We are on stage from 9pm to 11pm, with a licensed bar and BBQ on the platform.

Henry’s Blueshouse, West Bromwich Indoor Market
We are back at Henry’s Blueshouse, this time at its new West Bromwich home, on Friday 17 July 2026 from 7pm. Entry is free.
Henry’s Blueshouse is a Birmingham blues institution founded in 1968 by promoter Jim Simpson of Big Bear Music, the club that famously gave Black Sabbath their first break. Its second branch runs every Friday evening at West Bromwich Indoor Market and Food Hall, with the market traders staying open into the evening for street food and drinks.

Upton Blues Festival, Riverside Stage
We are on the Riverside Stage at the Upton Blues Festival on Saturday 18 July 2026, from 5pm. Entry to the festival is free, so just turn up.
The Upton Blues Festival is a multi-award-winning event that takes place every July, transforming the riverside town of Upton upon Severn into a bustling centre for roots and rhythm. The 2026 edition runs from 15 to 19 July with more than 170 free performances across the Meadow, Acoustic Roots and Riverside stages, plus the town's pub venues. It is run in support of the Upton Blues Festival Charitable Trust and funded by donations.

Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival, The Bottle of Sack
We are playing The Bottle of Sack in Sutton Coldfield on Tuesday 28 July 2026 as part of the 42nd Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival. Free entry, no ticket needed.
The festival runs from 24 July to 2 August 2026, with well over a hundred venues across the city and the vast majority of shows free to walk into. The Bottle of Sack is a large pub on Birmingham Road in the centre of Sutton Coldfield, taking its name from a line in Shakespeare’s Henry IV.

Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival, Millennium Point
Millennium Point hosts a free one-day mini festival as part of the 42nd Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival. A full day of live blues kicks off at 13:00 with The Shufflepack, followed by the Honeyboy Hickling Blues Band at 15:00 and Brad Henshaw at 17:30. We close the day as Get Loose take the stage at 19:45, bringing classic rock mixed with blues and fine melodies. Expect great music, relaxed vibes and a perfect atmosphere to celebrate the sound of blues together all day long. This event sold out quickly last year, so pre-book your free tickets to guarantee entry.

Cropredy Fringe, The Red Lion
We are playing the Cropredy Fringe at the Red Lion on Saturday 15 August 2026, on stage at 3pm. This is the pub’s own free fringe programme in the garden, not the main festival, so you do not need a festival ticket. Just walk in.
The Red Lion is a part-thatched village pub opposite the churchyard in Cropredy, a few yards from the canal towpath. During the Fairport Convention weekend the garden fills with marquees and the pub runs a full programme of free fringe bands.

The Elephant & Castle, Bloxham

The Elephant & Castle is a 17th-century ironstone coaching inn on Humber Street in the village of Bloxham, run as a Hook Norton Brewery pub and held by the same family for over forty years. Hooky ales, real ciders, a garden and terrace, and proper pub games including Aunt Sally.

Yardbirds Rock Club, Grimsby
We head up to Lincolnshire on Thursday 1 October 2026 to play Yardbirds Rock Club in Grimsby, from 7pm. This one is ticketed. Tickets are not on sale yet, so check the Yardbirds gig guide, or our Facebook page, and we will post the link as soon as it lands.
Yardbirds is an over-18s live-music club just off Freeman Street, billing itself as Lincolnshire’s number one live music venue, with original touring rock and blues acts on through the week.

A home-town one to end the year: we are back at the Haven Club at The Bullingdon on Wednesday 9 December 2026, on stage at 7.30pm. This one is ticketed, and tickets are not on sale yet. They will go up on the Haven Club’s WeGotTickets page, and we will share the link the moment they do.
The Haven Club is a friendly club based at The Bullingdon on Cowley Road, putting on top-notch blues and rock bands from the UK, US and Europe. Come and party.
